Donate

To supplement our income from letting the Camp, we rely on the generosity of our many donors, who range from kind individuals to commercial and philanthropic organisations and Charitable Trusts.

Some donations are earmarked for a particular improvement to the Camp, such as the funding of our solar energy resource, restoring the Hall or creating a wheelchair path.

Others are committed to the Bill Williams Fund, which fulfils our Founder’s objective to help disadvantaged children enjoy a country holiday. The Fund can cover food, transport and accommodation costs.  We are always keen to find new candidates for this Fund, so please tell us of any you may know.

Every gift, large or small, is hugely welcome and entirely applied to the Camp and its objectives.

If you feel able to give, please consider the following options:

  • A regular gift by Direct Debit or from your payroll
  • A gift to commemorate a loved one or friend
  • A sponsored event with gifts sent through eg Just Giving
  • Gifts from your company or organisation, perhaps through fundraising
  • A legacy to the Camp from your Will

For a single gift:

Send a cheque (payable to Long Mynd Adventure Camp) to Peter Jenkins, The Manor, Hope Bowdler, Church Stretton, Shropshire SY6 7DD or use the following bank transfer:

Account name: Long Mynd Adventure Camp; Bank: Barclays; Sort code: 20-08-64; Account number: 70250627

Gift Aid:

On receipt of a postal donation, we will send you a Gift Aid form for completion, which will allow us to reclaim tax from HMRC. You must pay an amount of Income or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year at least equal to the tax amount that LMAC will reclaim on your gifts for that year.
