New! Tailormade Adventure packages from Arthog Outreach

Adventure packages

For many years, most Camp users have supplied their own food and transport and supervised their own activities.

Now, visiting groups can also enjoy tailormade adventure packages, including transport and catering, supervised by specialists. If your group is short of time or resources, this could make your ideal trip a reality.

Arthog Outreach, a highly experienced and accredited local provider, will use Long Mynd Adventure Camp as a base to offer a range of tailormade adventure packages. These could include hill walking, rock climbing, paddle sports, bushcraft and team building.

Arthog Outreach employs well qualified outdoor educators who work closely with schools, enabling learning outside of the classroom without the extra burden of organisation that this would otherwise require. Arthog Outreach holds an AALS licence, LoTC Quality badge and the AHOEC Gold Standard.

Hill Walking

“The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a superb location for outdoor learning, rich in geography, wildlife and heritage. Hill walking provides a great opportunity to introduce people to this environment and we try to ensure that the love we feel for the landscape is passed on. We develop the map reading skills necessary for individuals to navigate and the skills to look after themselves and others in the outdoors. Fossils, historic mining villages, ancient forts and the wonders of nature all help to change a walk into a rich learning experience.” Arthog Outreach
